Father’s Day gift ideas galore

Father’s Day gift ideas galore

Dads are a peculiar bunch. Your average dad dresses funny at the weekend, still thinks it’s suitable to call the club in town a disco, and has a music collection that is only slightly less embarrassing than his special holiday socks. But there’s a solitary day of the year when we let all of these oddities slide and it will be upon us very shortly, as June 16 is Father’s Day.

There are plenty of ways to show your dad how much he means to you, and we’ve put together a great selection of Father’s Day gifts that will make him smile. Whether he likes the tuneful quirkiness of the Musical Piano Tie, is an Airfix veteran who would nurture a model Spitfire on a Sunday afternoon, or is someone in-between the two, it’s a safe bet that we’ll have something for him in our collection.

Tetris Light

An arcade classic and great home feature!

Remind him of his youth with some of our more retro gift ideas. Our popular Tetris Light is made up of the seven familiar Tetrimino shapes piled on top of each other to create an iconic Tetris stack. Each piece lights up when it touches another illuminated block, making it a very intriguing and ultra-cool light feature. If his childhood was spent in the toy box more than the tiny screen, then these Soldier Bookends will give him playful nostalgia whilst providing a practical application.

But what do you get the dad who has everything? How about a cluster of 64 really powerful magnets? Nano Dots are incredibly addictive to play with, holding together in complex lattices that are completely irresistible to wandering fiddle fingers. They even come suspended in cool test tube-like packaging that makes them look like a neat sci-fi experiment.

There are many more fantastic Father’s Day gift ideas in our range, such as the brilliantly silly parody book Fifty Sheds of Grey and the huge number of model cars and kits in our newly opened model shop. Check out our collection of Father’s Day gifts today and find him the perfect present that he’ll remember for years to come.
