Everyone likes free stuff, right? For years now we’ve provided our store customers with a free receipt after every purchase, truly breaking the mould in the retail arena. If you were happy before, then you’ll go completely mad for what we have on the horizon – Hawkin’s Bazaar game cards!

From today, every time one of our happy shop team gleefully hands you a receipt, they should also give you a free scratch card for you to take away. Whether you can contain your excitement until you’re out of the store or hurriedly shed the silver scratchings over the store manager’s shoes, you’re looking for three space hoppers to win.

Find three space hoppers on your card and you’ll be in possession of a winning scratch card. Look for the slightly less aesthetically pleasing prize code underneath the trio of grinning orange spheres and then head to hawkin.com/winner to register your code and claim your prize. Once you’ve registered a winning code we’ll send you a message to let you know what you’ve won at the speed of email.

What spectacular prizes can you expect to receive? Well, we have thousands to give away, including free poly gliders, pocket money toys, 20% off discount codes and £10 gift cards. What’s more, we have a grand prize of (deep breath now) an all you can carry shopping spree at Hawkin’s Bazaar!

Don’t worry if you fail to pick a winning ticket though. You’ll still get a code to register at hawkin.com/draw. Register this code online and you’ll be entered into a grand prize draw to win a £300 Hawkin’s Bazaar voucher in November. That’s a lot of Christmas sorted for one lucky winner.

    We’ve sent emails – with scans of scratch card and screenshots too – but no response whatsoever!! We are still awaiting notification of what I am sure (hint hint) will be a fantastic prize!!? It’s been 4-5 weeks with no response! (yes, have checked spam folders etc.)

    Is it perhaps, just a scam to get our details and send us spam – sorry, marketing – email (we did get that from Hawkins!)?

    What could have been a very positive (judging by my 4 y/o daughters initial response!) is now just VERY annoying. Very poor customer service.

  • Hi, I got 3 space hoppers on my card…(that I had to ask for as the lady in the Basingstoke shop forgot to give me one) my son was very excited that he ‘won’, so we waited until we got home to Reading to activate the details required, but nothing came to my inbox. I checked my spam as I would normally do, now 72 hours later, still no ” here’s your prize”! Is this because your site does not like .com email address??

    To 3 small children a “prize” means an object….20% off means I just have to spend more money …nice try but you are having a laugh HB

    • Hi Vicky, it’s meant to take your email address during the sign up, so it sounds like something went wrong! We can fix it though. Please email your winning code, nearest Hawkin shop and the email address you’d like to register to facebook@hawkin.com. We’ll then trigger your prize email manually. If you could please also let us know the browser and device you used to originally sign-up, then we can try and fix the problem too!

  • Took my grandson into Hawkin to claim his polyglider which he was delighted with. Inevitably spent more money in the shop and was given another scratch card. However the site will not accept my email address this time because ‘oops, this email address has already been used’. So it’s not ‘every time’ then, as your above blurb suggests? Perhaps you should tell your staff not to give another scratch card to people who have already claimed?

    • We’re glad your grandson was delighted with his polyglider. Unfortunately the T&Cs state the it’s one entry per email address, but if you’d like to claim a second prize, there’s nothing in the rules against using a different email ;)

  • My name is Daniel and i am 10 years old and after waiting since Christmas with my winning scratch card, to receive one of the exciting prizes advertised i was very disappointed to win a polystyrene
    plane as they are very cheap and break straight away.
    Your advertising lead me to believe i would receive a better toy than this. :(
