Backwards Clock

Dear Hawkins Bazaar,

I am 12 years old and I love the products that you produce! Every time I walk past your shop in Peterborough, I beg my Mum and Dad to go in and have a look! Some of my favourites are the Touchable Bubbles (I used 3/4 of a tube in about 3 hours) and the Air-Zooka (I love blasting my Dad) I have both of the Bazaar Times which I read over and over again! My school even has your Backwards Clocks dotted in the classrooms, which I am always staring up at though I can't figure out why. I give most of the credit to my Mum who fills up  my stocking with little toys from Hawkins every Christmas! Last year I got the Cafeteria Mug which I use every day! Keep up the good work!!!

Best Of Luck,

Ben Watson.

Such a shame that you've not got more shops in the Midlands. We loved it when you were briefly in the Bullring just before last Christmas.

Boring School Work!

Dear Hawkins Bazaar,

I am always getting bored and fed up with all my boring school work but I can always cheer myself up by having a gelli baff or making up games using one of your millions of toys. Plus your jump up smiley face makes me laugh even after a fight, so thank you Hawkins Bazaar for helping me to smile again after my trouble with bullying at school!

My Birthday

Dear Hawkin Bazaar,

I Love reading your catalogue! My Birthday was in May and I got some things for my birthday party from your shop. The first time I went to your shop I was on holiday in Bristol. I was only 8! I had a look around. When I was there I got a ball with a brown penguin and 2 magic tricks. I wanted the hand buzzer but there werent any left but last Christmas we had a temporary shop so I got one then.

You do such a good job, keep it up.

Yours always,

Emily R age 9

Hawkins addiction

Dear Hawkin's Bazzar team,

I just read your newspaper Bazaar Times, and think it's a wonderful thing to read to pass time. I love the way you put 'Top 11 - who says it has to be 10'. It makes visits to the website and reading the paper get a giggle out of boring days.

Every time I go to your shop I have to buy something, as if my life depends on it. Thats how addictive Hawkin's is. You are doing an excellent job and I pray for you to continue.

Best hopes for the future,

K.Bailey

You rock!

Dear the outstanding team of Hawkin's Bazaar,

I am soooooo over the moon that a shop of great fun and humour is so close to me! I applaud your staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The items in your shop are so out of this world, just looking at them sends an enjoyable tingle down my spine. I thank the people who invent such ingenious products for keeping me fascinated, and you for selling them to me!

I must suggest one thing, could you notify us whether each product in the Bazaar Times is available in all Hawin's Bazaar Stores.

Overall you're doing a fantastic job, and I must say, you guys rock!

A fabulous buyer of your products,

Lucy Bailey

And unfortunately i only received the great Bazaar Times yesterday, but i feel that if i had got it sooner i would have asked for several of the things that i found in the paper. Looking on your website, I have found everything from cars to cute little toys to blow your nails dry. It's so amazing that I might be coming every time one of my friends has a birthday. Zip It Bag

Hi,
Here is my comment
I love the new zip it bag! its such a cool idea and it saves loads of space. I keep it in my bag all the time and use it whenever I need to! It also makes a great re-usable grocery shopping bag. It's fashionable and really strong.

Many Thanks

Christmas Surprise

Dear Sirs,

I have always been a fan of all your unusual little novelties and buy some every year to go in Christmas stockings.

For this last Christmas I was entertaining the family of mixed ages and I bought eveyone a small item suitable to themselves.  I wrapped them up with their names on and put them is a mystery box.  They took it in turns to look for their present.  As I had bought them back in October I didn't remember exactly what I had got wrapped up and so we all had some fun.

Thank you for the new idea of the Bazaar Times.

Sincerely, Joy Roberts (Mrs)

Your Products

Dear Editor,

At a recent family dinner, I was trying to think up some forms of entertainment which would be likely to suit everyone; mixed ages and interests notwithstanding. I found the solutions at your store!

I purchased a disappearing dice and, after a relatively short practice period, was ready to astound. It was a great way to kick off the evening.

The highlight, though, was provided by a ‘Grand National’ run by a range of your wind up toys along the floorboards – used as lanes - in our living room. The races were taken very seriously indeed, with the ‘trainers’ urging on their animals and, I am sad to say, not above the occasional bit of sabotage! The dinosaurs, snails and assorted creatures were lined up and required to run ‘heats’, after which the final decided the winner – who happened to be my father (aged 77 going on 7) and his purple brontosaurus (which he has kept ever since as a souvenir) He also liked his grand prize, which was a miniature crochet set from your range.

A fun time was had by all.

Never before have I seen so many good ideas under one roof.

Congratulations and thanks!

J Hardy
